Walking along the beach

With nothing left to preach

Just enjoying the sun

Getting ready to have some fun

I hear a shout then another

Not knowing what to think, then O’ Brother

Then someone said “THERE’S A MAN IN THE WATER,

I’LL THROW A BUOY!!!” I wish he threw it further!

To the Seawall I went

There I saw a man bobbing to no relent!

Reaching for his hand,

I got nothing, not even sand

Watching him go down again,

I knew that I had to save this man

Then, Hand to Hand we both held on

We both realized he was close to the great beyond.

Don’t know why I was then and there,

But the Almighty knows, if not there would have been great despair.
